"Simply put, this just rocks."

date: January 22, 2005

Wow, where to begin...

When I heard the words "Eight Bit--Wahhguwahgawagawaguwaguh," I knew this was going to be a high-quality parody animation. When I saw Black Mage bob along with two ears and a squirrel's tail, I knew it was going to be as funny as hell. When I heard the voice acting, I knew a message was gonna be put across.

What I didn't know, is that something like this could be pulled off even half as well as what I've just seen.

A sprite movie can never be as good as a well done vector, a valid point indeed. Anyone can go to a sprite site, throw together an animation, and call it the highlight of New York's cheese. I know that, as I've worked with sprites myself. But vector animation is a whole different story. It takes skill, talent, and experience to make an excellent animation, and that is exactly what has been demonstrated here.

I love the original characters, I love the vector designs, I love the actors, the editing, and all the work that was sealed into this. I love the effects, I love the humor, I love what this was based off, and what it was turned into. I love this animation.

Simply put, this just rocks.

One small mistake--It's pronounced "HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL"
