"Am I a bad person for not voting very high?"

submission: Invader Zim: TMHSE
date: August 16, 2006

I DID THE ACTUAL "EPISODE" MUSIC AND I STILL DON'T QUITE LIKE THE SOUND OF IT. BUT THAT'S MY FAULT FOR BEING SO SLACK AND STUPID AND FORGETFUL.

AND I JUST REALISED, THERE'S SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THE PRELOADER. It goes to the menu before it's finished loading. :(

And yeah. Yay, now it's on NewGrounds. It'll reach some odd score because it has Zim and GIR and Dib in it, then people will start voting 0 to get it off the chart, and our boards will be bombarded by Zim fans who just want to chat and not help. And there'll also be people wondering why it was so short, even though it's called "THE MOST HORRIBLE SHORT EVER".

But that's okay because we all knew it'd happen anyway. :D

GOLLY. I SURE DO HOPE WE GET SOME MORE ANIMATORS IN. OH AND I SECRETLY HOPE THAT THIS DOESN'T MAKE FRONT PAGE, BECAUSE I'M VERY SCARED. <3

PPGZ in a Nutshell

"I AGREE WITH THE SUMMERY OF THAT EPISODE IN FULL."

submission: PPGZ in a Nutshell
date: July 11, 2006

Seriously, that episode was... y'know. Whack. As if the writers were just sitting around trying to think what the hell they were trying to write, and then they, like, fell asleep or something. Then one of them woke up and wrote about his "ice-cream" dream. :D

Hey, Japan? Yeah, just what the hell were you thinking when you made that switch from "KICK MOJO'S ASS" to "EAT ICE CREAM"?

Author's Response:

I dunno. But at least Mojo has the best taste in ice-cream.

Just a Dot?

"That... That was actually kinda cool."

submission: Just a Dot?
date: March 30, 2005

Well, alright, I'm at a loss for what I just watched, but there's nothing I can complain about. A plus right there.

Lesee... Visuals. Groovy, actually. I'm a fan of frame-by-frame, and the dots and lines, simple as they are, are kinda cool to watch. Moreso, because of the high framerate. Like, they just scream "HAH! TAKE THIS, N00B FLASHERS! WE'RE A SERIES OF FLASHING DOTS AND LINES, AND WE STILL KICK ASS WITH AWESOME!"

Audio, well, heck, pretty clear. Stereo, can't go wrong with that, either.

Violence, interactivity, and humor... Well, they're cool-lookin' dots and lines in a music video-ésque clip. What violence? What interactivity? What humor?

Made a while ago, eh? Well then, I guess I'll be on the lookout for some more recent pieces from you.

Author's Response:

Hmm... I am working on a new Flash now... It's called "Little Pink Dancin' Hippo!" I hope to get it done soon. I can't wait to read more reviews from you... Also, you make a good point. Simple objects are easier on the processor... Maybe I should do another work like that. I'll look into your opinion deeper a little later on... Thanks for droppin' a review!

"Simply put, this just rocks."

date: January 22, 2005

Wow, where to begin...

When I heard the words "Eight Bit--Wahhguwahgawagawaguwaguh," I knew this was going to be a high-quality parody animation. When I saw Black Mage bob along with two ears and a squirrel's tail, I knew it was going to be as funny as hell. When I heard the voice acting, I knew a message was gonna be put across.

What I didn't know, is that something like this could be pulled off even half as well as what I've just seen.

A sprite movie can never be as good as a well done vector, a valid point indeed. Anyone can go to a sprite site, throw together an animation, and call it the highlight of New York's cheese. I know that, as I've worked with sprites myself. But vector animation is a whole different story. It takes skill, talent, and experience to make an excellent animation, and that is exactly what has been demonstrated here.

I love the original characters, I love the vector designs, I love the actors, the editing, and all the work that was sealed into this. I love the effects, I love the humor, I love what this was based off, and what it was turned into. I love this animation.

Simply put, this just rocks.

One small mistake--It's pronounced "HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL"
